Disney Lovers Unite! A Beautifully Detailed Manhattan, Kansas Wedding | Topeka, KS Photographer Stacey Zoll Photography

Welcome! When I first photographed this couple months ago for their engagement pictures I could see their fun-loving, free-spirited love right away.  Their smiles, laughter, and slightly goofy personalities made them such a pleasure to work with.  Their wedding was no different!  Their bright orange and pink colors, combined with their Disney-themed favors and other beautiful decor made their wedding such a delight to attend and photograph.

Even with the attention to detail that was given, it was a nice relaxing event and it seemed like everyone had a wonderful time.  The couple got ready at the church where they met less than two years before.  They did a first look by the old schoolhouse in Manhattan, followed by some family portraits, couple portraits, and then the entire Bridal Party took some fun, unique, and often hilarious, photos.

The ceremony was performed by the Bride's grandfather and a pastor from their church so it was a really lovely message.  After the ceremony the couple served appetizers, dessert, coffee options, and then spent the time visiting with friends and family.  The tables were decorated with flowers, old books from various Disney movie couples and other favorite characters, and named with a corresponding couple from the story.  I could go on and on describing all of their details, but instead, I will post some photos and you can see for yourself!

Hannah & Ethan, thank you SO much for choosing me to share in your day.  I pray that God blesses your marriage and families immensely as you focus on His love for you and keep him central to your marriage always.  It was such a pleasure working with you and your guests!

A Farm Town Wedding in Bremen, Kansas | Topeka Wedding Photographer | Stacey Zoll Photography

Happy Summer!! Woot!  I would like to share some photos from a recent wedding I photographed in the small town of Bremen, Kansas.  Weddings in this town are always fun as they come with their own traditions, including, of course, the ringing of the town bell after the Bride & Groom said "I Do!"  Generations have been ringing the Bremen bell after weddings for years and it is always fun to watch Newlyweds do the same as their parents and grandparents did before them!

This wedding had even more repeated traditions.  The couple was married in the same church that the Bride's parents were married in decades earlier, and included a message by the pastor that married her parents!  He did a wonderful job and I really loved the advice he gave: marriage is as good as what you put into it, not what you receive; keep the Bible and God's word a part of your marriage; never forget Jesus Christ and his sacrifice; Forgive one another; and blow bubbles!!

The bridesmaids wore a dark purple similar to that of Kansas State University, where the couple attended college.  The flowers were gorgeous and the details were beautiful as well.  Guests signed a wooden board when they arrived and went home with their own mason jar style mugs.  The transportation for the Wedding Party was seven vintage trucks, and guests threw wheat grains instead of rice as the couple left the church.

Prior to the ceremony the couple did a "First Look" to eliminate time between the ceremony and reception.  The Bride & Bridesmaids wanted to do the "Bridesmaids" movie pose which led to a fun set of photos as they attempted to keep straight faces and we had some fun with some poses of our own.  The men had fun hanging out, playing music, and doing whatever it is boys do!

The reception took place at the local American Legion and was decked out in lights, a head table backdrop of old doors, draped fabric, and many more fun details showcasing the couple and their relationship together.  The Bride & Groom opted for pie instead of the traditional wedding cake, all 38 of which were baked personally by the Bride's grandmother (with some help from Grandma's husband I was told).  The pie tasting was extra unique when the bride and groom decided to get messy with it, and much to the Bride's surprise, she ended up with pie in her eye.  (Is anyone else singing "when the Moon, hits your EYE, like a big PIECE OF PIE, It's AMMORRREEEEEE!!!!" Or is that just me?).

So that's enough of my rambling for now I think.  I wish these two a long, happy life together and hopefully they will have children & grandchildren following in their footsteps a few decades from now! Thank you for letting me share in your day, and may God Bless your marriage Always!
