Last Saturday I spent the day with a beautiful, fun-loving couple as they said their "I Do's" with a gorgeous view of the Manhattan hills. The couple chose this location for the gorgeous view and was blessed with beautiful weather to go along with it!
The Bride's bouquet and the the boutonniere included guinea feathers to add a fun, personal touch representing their previous home. The couple chose to do a First Look prior to the ceremony to take photos with family and friends beforehand. The ceremony included some lovely sentiments and some great laughs as it was officiated by a friend of the couple. The officiant described the couple and their outdoorsy, adventurous personalities and how they came together, making it unique and just their style.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the nearby pole barn where guests drank, socialized, and ate BBQ smoked beforehand by the groom himself. The Groom's cake was decorated just for him with a fireman theme, and they had a two-tiered cake for their traditional cake-cutting. The Bride's father gave a really nice toast to the couple, and it was followed by their first dance backed by the gorgeous Kansas sunset. Everyone had a great time and the Bride & Groom were able to focus on enjoying their guests and the evening.
Thanks so much to the Bride & Groom for letting me share this moment with you, and I hope your future adventures as husband and wife are filled with more love and laughter than you can imagine!
