Baby M was 5 days old when we did his newborn session, however he was already weighing in at over 8 lbs! I suppose I should not have been surprised since he ended up being named after the strongest man in the world! It started out as a joke when his Mom first found out about the pregnancy, but ended up sticking by the time he was born. It is a great little story on how he received his name! Baby M slept most of the time allowing us to get some great shots before he wasn't interested anymore. =) His Dad is in the military and deploying this summer so we made sure to incorporate some of his gear into the session as well.
